Action For Children works directly with vulnerable children, young people and their families in local communities across the UK. This November, they worked with Arthur London to launch a new Christmas appeal campaign called ‘Be a Secret Santa for a vulnerable child this Christmas.’ The campaign aims to recruit 25,000 people to be a Secret Santa by donating £10 and giving a vulnerable child coping in the most difficult circumstances a safer and happier Christmas.
For most of us, the festive season is a time of joy. But there are children in this country who have very little to look forward to, and could really do with a little warmth and safety this Christmas. These are children who are at risk of abuse and neglect and could do with a little help.
