VK targets students with free gift packs and club nights

VK, the popular alcopop brand owned by Global Brands, has launched its latest activity to coincide with Freshers and drive sales in the run up to Christmas. The brand have created limited edition ‘Electric’ mixed packs which will contain a branded power bank inside – perfect for students to charge their mobiles on the go.

The activity will be supported by the complementary Electric Tour where VK will engage tens of thousands of students over the course of two months. The brand will host 62 club-nights around the country, including Student Unions, Deltic venues, and O2 Academy Venues where it will sponsor British artist, Tom Zanetti’s, UK tour.

Due to hit stores at the beginning of September and be on shelf for 6-8 weeks, the packs will provide added value to consumers and form part of the brand’s through the line strategy to appeal to more students than ever before.
