Manchester-based shopper marketing agency The Market Creative has named Gemma Sheridan as Planning Director and made two other new hires.

Manchester-based shopper marketing agency The Market Creative has strengthened its team with a Planning Director plus two other new hires.

Gemma Sheridan joins the marketing agency as Planning Director. She was previously Head of Strategy at Refinery and has 12 years’ experience working with a wide range of brands globally from M&S to Nissan.

In her newly created position at The Market Creative, Gemma will focus on translating insight into impactful brand and communication strategies.

Also new to The Market Creative team is Garrick Middleton. As Lead Creative, he will oversee a wide-range of creative projects, as well as mentoring and developing the creative team. He has worked in the industry for 15 years and was previously with gyro:Manchester.

Charlotte Sadler has also joined the team as Account Manager, working across Silentnight, Sharps and Plumbase. She was previously a producer at Hangar Seven.

Sue Benson, Managing Director at The Market Creative, says: “We’ve recently rebranded and have ambitious growth plans, so this is an exciting time to join us. All three new starters come with a great deal of relevant experience, and complement the existing team.”

The Market Creative employs 16 staff at its offices in Trafford Park, Manchester.
