The IPM is delighted to announce Mani Roberts as it’s new Regulatory Affairs Manager.
Mani grew up in West London and studied at the University of Westminster. After graduating and working in film and television production at the BBC Mani moved to the British Film Institute to work in rights and contracts.
The negotiating experience he gained there led him into a career in compliance and regulatory affairs beginning at Clearcast, before moving in-house at a leading retail brand as Compliance Manager. The skills developed both there and at Clearcast led to Mani accepting the position of Regulatory Affairs Manager at the IPM where he will continue to develop his career.
Paul Cope, Managing Director of the IPM, said: “Mani comes to the IPM with an impeccable pedigree, both from the pure compliance and commercial worlds. I’m excited to work with him to develop the IPM’s Legal Advisory Service, especially the European Review & Approval Service which we’ll be developing for the impending post-Brexit trading conditions.”
Mani added: “Joining the IPM at such an interesting time for the industry is a wonderful opportunity and I very much look forward to getting involved with the self-regulatory process at the ASA, not to mention working with – and meeting – as many of our members as possible.”
Mani will be the point of contact for all European and UK brand activation and promotional marketing compliance enquiries at the IPM. He can be contacted via Legal@theipm.org.uk or on 020 3848 0447
