Guardian Jobs announces it will give free adverts for all NHS job listings for as long as necessary throughout the coronavirus outbreak.
The job ads will be further boosted by traffic driving ads placed around the Guardian website, ensuring as wide an audience as possible.
The move was announced in a blog post on the Guardian Jobs recruiters site, and in an email to all NHS healthcare recruiters.
Gemma Hennen, Director of Sales and Marketing, Guardian Jobs, said: While Guardian journalists are working tirelessly to report on the coronavirus crisis, providing accurate and trusted journalism, we understand that all parts of the Guardian’s business have a role to play in this crisis. Providing free job listings for NHS roles is one small way we can support the amazing work of NHS staff, and ensure that we’re doing our part to fill the urgent vacancies in the service.
In recognition of the challenging times, all organisations face, Guardian Jobs is also extending its maximum length of job adverts from four to six weeks, to ensure more potential candidates see all job listings. This change has been applied to current adverts and will be automatically added to any advert booked with Guardian Jobs before 30th April.
