We wanted to take this opportunity, at the close of the year to offer some rare, but well deserved good news regarding the IPM Awards. The awards were different this year due to the pandemic, but the entries we received were still of the highest creative quality and the utmost effectiveness.

This year we had two agencies that were absolutely tied in their efforts and received exactly the same number and make up of Awards. So it is with great pleasure that the IPM is able to announce that Circle Agency and Live & Breathe are to be named as joint recipients of The IPM Agency of the Year 2020.

For their campaigns on Costa Express and Asahi UK respectively, the quality and effectiveness of the work was clear in abundance.

Nick Gray, Managing Director of Live & Breathe explained “We are delighted and honoured to have won this amazing accolade. Thanks so much. Bloody brilliant. Thriving. Together” while Claire Grecian Founder and Managing Director at Circle Agency added “Circle are delighted to receive the accolade of ‘Agency of the Year, 2020’ from the IPM.  The fact that it comes at the end of such an unpredictable time, when all agencies have had to work so much harder to adapt and change plans for our clients, makes it that much sweeter for the entire Circle team. With that in mind, we would also like to share this win with all the IPM member agencies, who we know are producing incredible work despite the challenges Covid has set for us as an industry.  And of course, we very much look forward to a proper celebration, with all of our industry peers, when it is safe to do so.”

Andrew Rae, MD of The IPM book-ended the year by saying “The hardest year of many people’s careers has not diminished the creativity, ingenuity and dedication to the cause and the campaigns highlighted in this year’s awards were testament to that. We look forward to welcoming some degree of normality in 2021 in the way we are able to celebrate campaigns, but not in the production of the content.”
