This year’s winners, which were announced at the IPM’s black-tie Awards Gala on Thursday 4th July at the London Hilton Park Lane, showcased and celebrated the very best in creativity and effectiveness in the Promotional Marketing and Brand Activation industry.
The evening commenced with opening addresses from Lord Black of Brentwood, President of the IPM, and Peter Kerr, the IPM’s Board Director from MRM (Multi Resource Marketing) while the host for the event was comedy superstar, Rich Hall.
Peperami was named as Brand Owner of the Year with the campaign created by Atomic London ‘Terrify a Friend for Free’ collecting five Gold and three Silver trophies.
Agency of the Year 2019 was awarded to ZEAL Creative who went home with a total of 14 trophies, 3 Golds, 7 Silvers and 3 Bronzes for their ‘Kellogg’s & Love Island’, Chicago Town ‘Take the Mayhem Out of Mealtimes’, ‘Imperial Leather X Skinny Dip’, ‘A Quality Street Christmas 2018’, Rubicon ‘Refresh Your Ramadan’, Nestlé ‘Les Recettes de L’Atelier’ and Pringles ‘Prize with Every Can’ and were awarded Team of the Year for team Nestlé
The Grand Prix was chosen from all of the Gold winners in the IPM Awards 2019 by a Final Judging Panel. The winner is selected by anonymous vote, and this year the vote went to Converse and XYZ for their fantastic ‘The One Star Hotel’ campaign.
Other agencies taking away multiple trophies from the IPM Awards 2019 including Blue Chip Marketing (2 Golds, 3 Silvers and 3 Bronzes), Twelve Agency (4 Golds, 1 Silver and 2 Bronzes), and Brass (2 Golds and 3 Bronzes).
IPM headline sponsors, The Work Perk handed out treats throughout the duration of the night to guests at the Awards 2019 alongside Category Sponsors Lastminute.com who left some flight and hotel vouchers and Eat My Logo who surprised guests with a box of treats on every table.
The duration of the night, the IPM switched things up by hosting a Prize Draw with prizes including Unlimited Cineworld passes provided by Sodexo Filmology, Love2Shop Voucher from MRM, ASOS gift card by Jigsaw Business Solutions, Selfridges gift card from POD Staffing, a pair of Fusion Festival tickets from Electric Live and a Michelin Star dining experience from Cloud Nine.
The evening portion of the event included a fun photo booth by Scene2 offering guests the chance to donate to charity sponsor and Breast Cancer charity, CoppaFeel! as well as a Scalextric competitive racing track by Hornby Hobbies .
