Pet owners are being offered the chance to have free samples of pet products delivered to their work place, in an initiative from in-office sampling company, The Work Perk.

Launching today in collaboration with Bring Your Dog To Work Day 2017, the new service – The Pet Perk – is targeting pet owners and also employers, who are being offered a new way to motivate employees.

With 8.5 million dogs and 7.4 million cats registered in the UK alone, The Pet Perk has already secured partnerships with several international pet brands including: The Company Of Animals, Eukanuba and Iams.

Liz McGuinness, Brand Manager at The Company Of Animals, comments: “The Company Of Animals is delighted to be partnering with The Pet Perk to sample our Pet Head product range. With so many pet parents within the workplace this is a great way for us to engage with our target consumers.”

Giuliano Buccino, Head of Marketing at Eukanuba (UK & Ireland), says: “The Pet Perk gives us a great opportunity to directly target pet owners with samples of our premium nutrition to support their dogs from puppy through to senior for visible benefits with a lifelong impact.”

The Pet Perk chose today, June 23, for its launch date to coincide with the international event Bring Your Dog To Work Day 2017, where employees are encouraged to bring their dog to work and raise money for charities All Dogs Matter and Animals Asia.

As well as donating to Bring Your Dog To Work Day 2017, The Pet Perk is supporting the event via social media marketing.

Jo Amit, co-owner of HOWND and founder and organiser of UK Bring Your Dog To Work Day comments: “The nation embraced the initiative from the outset and today thousands of businesses around the country are taking part in the best day out for dogs. Raising money for animal welfare charities and promoting the benefits of bringing dogs into the safe work environments are the aims of the event.”

Maria Amany, spokeswoman for The Pet Perk, adds: “We are thrilled to support HOWND, the organisers of Bring Your Dog To Work Day, to help promote the day and its associated charities. We think dogs should be allowed in every office on every day – but that’s just our opinion!”

The Pet Perk has created an international database of 7 million ‘pet parents’ worldwide and is offering brands the opportunity to target them with dog and cat related products, samples and promotional offers delivered to their workplace. Following any sampling activity, consumers are encouraged to provide feedback on products via product questionnaires.
